Author Blog: Inspiration for the book

After a tragic moment in my life, I fell into a dark place. I needed to stay strong and focused on surviving for my two small children. God finally answered my prayers and told me to write my book. I didn't know at the time what book he wanted me to write. My mother had dementia, and as I watched her diminish, I couldn't help but wonder how it could be cured. Drumroll: when I woke from a dream, I knew what I would write. Based on real experiences and people, I created a story I could heal through and escape to.
